here is the trick of free messaging for maharashtra (pune,mumbai) users.
Go to messaging and change center number to +919898051914 and select preferred connection ( packet data) it will work only on (new series of airtel which is starting with 09766) about others i'm not sure.

Go to messaging and change the center number to
+919892999956 and in the "sent as" option move it to "email" if it not working then do same thing again but try this center number +919892999043. go to messaging and change the Center num to
+919845086020 (sent as: pagging )
and for mumbai users the old (+919898051916) one is wrkng if u make changes in "sent as: text = move it to pagging" and
send a message to urself 1st ok.
